I've learned that across the board- men keep women from sleeping.
How you ask?
Let me tell you.
Every single night whether it be 10 p.m. or 2 a.m. if my husband sees that I have opened my eyes even a smidgen he'll start yapping his mouth away at every single thought that been going through his mind the past five minutes, or the past five years!
And there's no way to stop this yap train! Because I'm in bed and really exhausted from a full days work with my kids and family. He knows I cannot run, or even get my fat ass up out of the bed- to get away from the yap attack, to get some much needed sleep!
I asked some of my girlfriends about this, and their husbands do the EXACT same thing!!!
See the stereotype is ALL WRONG!!!! It's not the woman that yaps away the day and night- it's the MAN!!!
Dave tried to do that this morning- no I wasn't trying to go to sleep but I was tired and watching Levi play, while TRYING to stay awake and alert.
He starts showing me the things he's learned on the Internet and everything else on his mind, including his to-do list for the day.
I felt like my mind was being flung out the window.
I finally yelled "STOP!!!! You are sucking the life out of me!!!"
He looked shocked.
Of course, I realized I just MIGHT have been a tad too harsh and of course apologized.
He knew I was kidding...kinda.
But he saw my apology as a chance to continue talking...which was a no-no.
I FORCED him to go get some rest, in the bedroom. While I stayed in the living room watching Levi.
Oy Vey!
Hey- to all the guys out there!!!! Stop your yapping when you see we are exhausted.
We might just end up smacking you in the back of your head!

More things about marriage people never told me
Today I felt like shitty shit fuck.
I didn't sleep at all last night, due to chest pains.
Fun times.
This morning my mom and Kayla were watching my kids and I went to lay down.
Dave decided to join me.
Oh boy!
I guess his coffee kicked in at that exact moment, because he wouldn't shut up.
He LOVES smack talking...and I was getting annoyed.
He kept trying to stick his finger in my mouth, which I found disgusting, so of course he wanted to do that even more!
I screamed at him "LEAVE ME ALONE! STOP TOUCHING ME!!!! STAY ON YOUR SIDE OF THE BED!!! SHUT UP!! NO TOUCHIE!!!"
He then replied,"Yeah, those were your wedding vows". I agreed!
He told me "Hey, you married this!!! (pointing to himself)
I answered "Begrudgingly!!!".
He said "Our imaginary wedding invitations should have said- You are cordially invited to witness David drag Miss Beana down the aisle by her hair. Wear sneakers in case the bride tries to make a run for it!"
after I laughed and agreed-
I told him to shut up. Leave me alone! Don't touch me! And stay on his side of the bed!!!
These are just some of the things people never told me about marriage.

Happy New Years!!!
Hey everyone- sorry I fell off the planet for a week,
Turns out my whole family and I had strep throat.
Violet is still fighting it, as is Levi.
But Violet did eat for the first time in about 5 or 6 days!
Yeah- my daughter is EXTREME!
It was a very calm and quiet New Years Eve.
The kids fell asleep early and Kayla and I were having a hard time keeping ourselves awake!
We'd been so ill this whole week, that sleep is worth it's weight in gold right now to us.
Dave had to go to the bathroom, close to the time of the New Years Ball dropping in Times Square (on t.v.)
He got out- JUST in time!!
With only 1 SECOND to spare!!!
Yeah- That's marriage for you-
He rushed out of the bathroom, because he told me- if he spent new years eve in the bathroom, I'd never ever let him live it down!
Hahahahahaha!!!
He's so right!
When he got out of the bathroom, I told him he was too late! Just to fuck with him!!!
And that's marriage in a nutshell, truly.
Kisses Bitches...oh yea And have a Fuck AWESOME New Year!!!

Stuff n' Shit
Hey guys and gals.
This past week was CRAZY!!!
Both my parents have been insane.
I think everyone here has lost their minds COMPLETELY!
DO you ever have this moment where you realize your parents- or even just one- wish you never existed?
Yeah I get this a lot.
Not from my mom, although on Thanksgiving during all the drama in the kitchen, my mom turned to me and yells "You wanna know why I crazy?! YOU'RE the REASON that I yell and scream all the time!"
She said this with this insane look in her eyes- like she'd been in prison at some point.
At this point I just had to laugh my ass off, I replied "So I'm the reason you're CRAZY?!"
She responded "YES!!! YOU ARE!"
I turned to Dave and just laughed and laughed and laughed, my mom had finally snapped!
But back to my dad, the one I know for certain wishes I never existed.
I bet he wishes he never married either. Or has the "shitty life" he thinks he has.
I know he blames me for us moving from his "precious, wonderful, Manhattan apartment".
According to him- he sacrificed everything for his family.
Which to me- is the biggest bunch of bullshit I've ever heard in my life.
It didn't matter to him that my kids and I weren't sick all the time- or that our room was covered in mold, that our stove didn't work and leaked gas, that the paint all over the house was chipping, the cabinets and sinks were rotting. None of this mattered to him.
The only thing that mattered to him was that stupid shit hole of an apartment and that it was in Manhattan.
I grew up with my dad being an absolute prick. He was angry all the time and would break things with his head!!! Bash his head against the walls when he was angry while screamng at me- This STILL wasn't the worst thing he did to me. There was- oh so much- more still. He always terrified me.
Not until I was around 14 did I start to fight back and yell and scream at him.
I always told Dave, that the man- he met- my father- about 12 years ago- was a sweet little innocent kitten compared to the way he was years before.
Ever since we moved my dad has been a maniac.
He was fighting with me all the time about everything and anything.
It was really pissing me off.
Because no matter ALL the shit he's done to me over the years- I STILL try not to fight with him.
It's pointless.
The last time we really went to blows- and I almost punched him, was a few years ago, when Violet was around a year old.
If it hadn't been for Dave practically catching me in mid flight to jump-punch him int he face (I think I've played mortal combat a few too many times), I would've killed him.
I was just about to lose my fucking cool with him yet again, until Dave took him aside- and basically threatened to "Karate chop" my dad in the balls (TRUTH!!!) That my dad backed down a wee bit.
My dad isn't afraid of anyone- which is SO ridiculous to think this- except Dave.
He's seen Dave lose his temper- and Dave is the one person- other than me- people should be scared of.
See I'm more a scrappy crazy- like a crackhead (but I'm not obviously!). You never know what's gonna make me snap- and what I'm gonna fucking hit with you with.
Dave is more- the I'm really big and intimidating and looks like he has serious anger issues- he could probably crush someone's skull with his bare hands- I'm sure of this.
My dad and me- we don't mix.
I try to stay as calm as possible with him.
To me- he's still a child. He reacts like a child.
I TRY my very best to stay calm with him and not get pissed off by everything single crazy thing he says.
On another note we are getting settled in our place.
Still trying to figure out our surroundings- but we're getting better.
Today is my 4 year wedding anniversary to Dave- the anniversary of our hack wedding at city hall.
Such a bad day for us- it was pouring rain we were fighting- I was scared shitless! I was as white as a ghost!
Dave was screaming at me saying "You don't want to marry me??!"
Yeah- it was a bad day.
My dad showed up in a stained shirt and pants- trying to have us hurry up because he needed to get back to his office ( it was only a couple of floors UP in the same building!).
My mom was late- but showed up with flowers for us- I thought she was going to miss my hack wedding!
My dad and mom weren't talking or getting along.
My mom couldn't figure out how to work the video camera, the judge couldn't get my name right.
All together the wedding wasn't more than a minute long.
We were BROKE- so we went to the dinner for a piece of shitty cake.
Fun times....NOT!
Did I mention I was four months pregnant with Violet at the time? And nauseous?!
And here we are today four years later- and it's pouring rain yet again.
Wooohooo!
Fun times. Fun times.
Kisses Bitches!!!

Starting...
Started moving boxes and furniture up to the new place today.
We only get maybe an hour or two a day to pack because of the kids.
I have no one to watch them- and if I turn my back for a second- they are trying to kill each other!
Plus Lee and Vi hate the sound of me taping the boxes shut! They scream!!
Both my parents are kind of losing their minds- they are both completely fried mentally- due to the big move.
Last night was rough- the migraines had finally taken their toll on me.
I could barely move- because I was gonna pass out! I tried to walk- bad idea!!!
There was this intense pressure in my head and I couldn't think straight!
These hormone pills and thyroid problems are going to be the death of me for sure!
Plus I think the medications are putting me in heat or something. I didn't even THINK it was possible for me to want sex more often- but I was wrong!
This with the packing- no of course we're not done!- moving- my kids trying to kill each other- the migraines- the arguing- the stress.
BOOM! My head is gonna explode-
oh wait- I'm suppose to think positive-
Everything will be getting better!!!!!
Woohoo- very short blog post.
BTW- I thought I'd just put this out there.
Marriage is....(you fill in the blank).
For me Marriage is ...when each time you roll over in bed, your husband farts in your face in his sleep.
That's marriage.
I'll leave you with this thought for now!
Muahahhahahahahhahaha!

More things married people say to each other...
Dave and I talk smack all the time.I've mentioned before my recent love for Nutella- it's brilliant- I cry when I'm running low on this shit- it's that fucking good!
Dave apparently doesn't feel the same way as me and started to insult my dear Nutella (he said "If a Carebear could shit..."- before he could finish- I said-"Don't be sayin' shit about my Nutella!"
He responded "Or what?!"
Without missing a beat I said "Or I'll FUCK YOU UP!!!!"
And then we both started hysterically laughing.
So for the rest of the day, any time he wasn't listening or doing something I wanted him to, I told him I'd FUCK HIM UP!!
It totally made my day.
Another thing I've been saying to him all weekend- "Don't make me bitch slap you!"
And if you read the previous blog- you'd know why that's so fucking funny!
That's my story of the day- ENJOY!

"No more sexy talk-straight to fucking"
Yes, this is the exact quote used by Dave. It cracked me up, because I totally agreed.Four play has changed since we had children- it mostly consists of us laughing our asses off at each other. Strange, right?
We are total goofballs and don't really get time together to just be by ourselves, joking around.
Our "sexy talk" consists of..,"Hey all your shirts have turned into crop tops! In the mood yet?!"
And then we just laugh and laugh.
After twelve years together, you'd think there'd be no "spice" left. But luckily there still is. It's just different, then say the first two years we were together. But there's still many surprises left up our sleeves.
Our roles have completely changed around also. I used to be wide awake after after doing the deed and I would want to go out and do things, while he'd want to go sleep. Nowadays, afterwards he's the one who's all energized, and all I want to do is go to sleep!
And of course there's no cuddling, I've told you all that before- I don't do that- that's WAY too girlie for me.
Also we don't call it "making love" anymore- again way too girlie. EWW!
Just the sound of it, makes me cringe.
It's dirty and nasty, the way things are supposed to be! Thank goodness.
Before and afterwards there's lots of laughter- not so much during. But things can get a bit silly.
I think it's important not to take things too seriously and to be able to laugh at just about everything.
Plus we make fun of each other all the time, if I took things too personally, I would spend the day and night crying myself to sleep- again- WAY too girlie. In the twelve years we've known each other, we have learned a lot about each other, but that's never led to things getting "boring".
I thank my bipolar, for that sometimes because you never know what tomorrow will bring, that's for sure.
Plus, if I wasn't such a hyper-sexual person- things could have very well gotten boring.
I mean, I think of sex ALL the time- probably more than the "average" woman, but who knows right?
Dave doesn't even think about it as much as I do. again, he's my wife- remember?
That's my thoughts for today so far.
Hope it made you laugh.
I'd love to know how often- YOU women out there think about sex- everyday, several times a day, every free second (that's me), every other day, every week?? Let me know. I'd love to hear about it!
Kisses to my filthy dirty Bitches out there!!! Get BUSY!

Some things people never ever tell you about marriage
First of all if you are family, or a friend and are one of those people who say "too much information", or "T.M.I."..don't read this blog entry. Nuff said. There are several things people never told me about marriage. SO MANY.
Not that it would've changed my mind or anything. I was always terrified of marriage. It took Dave three times proposing for me to finally say yes. And it has nothing to do with him, I just never really thought I'd get married. I never like my parents marriage, so I didn't feel it was right for me.
Even on the day of our "wedding" I say this in quotation marks- because it was a rushed wedding in City hall- which takes probably less than one whole minute for the ceremony. Yeah- it's not fun at all. I was terrified on the way there- Dave was yelling at me "You don't want to get Married!?!" And all I said back was "uhh, yeah I want to get married, I'm just scared. It's normal! Deal with it!!!" Yeah- I was a peach- four months pregnant, and nauseous with morning sickness. Fun times!
Anyways- there are things I think all people should know before "taking the plunge". One I'm all about "living in Sin" nothing is wrong with that whatsoever. Having kids, living together all that without a marriage certificate- good for you. As long as you're committed to never leaving each other. No document- should change things. Like the minute that certificate is signed- people change. usually the man in this case- but not always.
Men usually woo the girl, dress nice, smell nice, are polite- you know "courtship"
The women do the same usually. Well it also depends how long you were together before marriage. Dave and I- eight years together before marriage. I thought I knew everything!!! That nothing would change. Bullshit! You don't know shit!
So here's some funny things people don't tell you about marriage.
One- yes, one of you or both of you will most probably get fat. This part you know. Not all of you are okay with this fact but it is a FACT. Weight changes. Period. And you have to be okay with this. Unless you're one of those crazy people that watch every single thing you eat- and WANT to for the rest of your fucking LIFE!
I try to keep to a normal weight, for me- not for him. He tries to fatten me up every chance he gets! What can I say he fucking LOVES fatties! God bless him.
Before him I was into skinny people. But I learned to love the chub. And yes with each and every pregnancy my husband got bigger. Which to me, really isn't a problem- I love him no matter what. That's the truth. Do I want him to be healthy and around for the kids- yes- and that's the only reason he is trying to lose weight.
So what have we learned thus far- not only do women gain weight during pregnancy- SO DO MEN!
You have to be okay with your spouse- not bathing for awhile. Gross? you say? Well- with kids- time for yourself is difficult- I have mastered this. I bathe a lot. My husband- hasn't mastered this so he needs to be reminded- BATHE.
I hate hair, so I still shave, and bathe, and wear make-up and do my hair. But this is for ME, not because he wants me to do this or anything. I've just always been like this ( probably the old lesbian part of me still sticking with me), no marriage certificate is going to change this about me. I like to feel attractive. Plus I think I'm a little O.C.D. about cleanliness.
Don't EVER have kids and get married the same year! It's total and complete chaos! Marriage- needs it's own time adjusting. As well as the first year of having a child. Both together- KABOOM, Muthafucka. Fucking KABOOM!
So don't do it!
People don't tell you how "comfortable" you have to be with your spouse. The changes in appearance, smell, etc.
If they get hurt, and become disabled- will you take care of them forever- now if you're in a new relationship - I bet your answer- is a cutesy- "of course I love him/her no matter what."
But really- you gotta wipe this persons' ass several times a day- if needed. Are you willing?!
If not- Don't get married! And seriously what a fucking horrible evil motherfucker are YOU exactly to not do this for the person you love, you prick?!
No one ever told me- one night I may have to run out to Duane Reade and get my husband adult diapers because he was very ill! This still to this day makes me fucking laugh my ass off. Yes it's stupid crazy shit like this you will be doing for the rest of your life!
Another thing no one fucking told me. If your spouse gets fat enough- and you're doin' it- from behind- they may or may not put their stomach on top of your ass, as a motherfucking shelf! I know- this is fucking crazy right? But to me it's fucking hilarious!!!!
Afterwards I was like, "Motherfucker. Did you just fucking do that?! And think I wouldn't say nothing???!!!"
BTW Dave gave me permission to write about this- before you think- I'm such an assshole for sharing this.
It was just TOO freakin' funny to keep to myself. I really don't care if you think it's gross or whatnot- to me- It's marriage- deal with it. If you can't get out while you still can- plus really you have no sense of humor. And that makes me cry. Now NUT UP G-ddammit!
Also, despite what many people think- men can go longer without sex than most women. I know, weird right? I've tried to threaten my husband with "oh yea- then you ain't getting any!"
To which he replies- "yeah fucking right! you'll break down in five fucking minutes- don't play!" And he's right. What can I say, I don't have hobbies.
This is REAL LIFE. It's not clean, and pretty it's rough, and real and difficult.
But if you stick it out- you get a bestfriend for life- that will always have your back. Who will love you no matter what you look like, smell like, even sound like. This isn't marriage it's a WAR. A never ending war- But there are benefits.
I'm not going to list them all- but you'll find out eventually what they are.
So if you're getting married- ask yourself ARE YOU READY? And If you're not- and you want to continue to work hard, woooing and smelling nice, and looking nice- well G-d bless you, you're a hard fucking worker. If you're not- then get married by all means;)
I hope you know what a fucking blast I had writing this!
Laughing my ass off the whole fucking way!!!!
Plus cursing a lot- FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK- always fun. I'm a child, I know.
Kisses bitches! That's my knowledge for today! Peace out!
*a photo I found of the net- I somehow think this fits- plus it's so funny, I don't know why. But it is.

Short true story...
Last night while Dave and I were in the bedroom trying to put the kids to sleep, Dave was lying on his side on the bed. He rolled over to his back- and farted. Then rolled back to his side. He realized there had been a paper plate underneath his ass when he farted. Then took the plate and while handing it to me said "I served this for you".
We both cracked up laughing.
This is marriage. Point blank.
We both cracked up laughing.
This is marriage. Point blank.

Tired and Cranky.
I'm tired of being tired.
Most of you know by now- my children don't sleep. They eventually do fall asleep but NEVER EVER stay asleep.
This leads to Dave and I being tired all the time.
Coffee is my friend. Dave is a connoisseur of all energy drinks, shots and vitamins.
He is a TRUE caffeine addict. We've tried to get him off this addiction a few times- but that leads to HELL. I don't care if I'm an enabler- I don't like Dave acting like a Cunt.
It takes him awhile to go through complete withdrawal- and I can't go through that again. Plus- what else can we do to stay awake???
He's exhausted all the time. Tired all the time- no matter how much he naps.
And his doctors don't listen to me- when I explain there's a serious problem.
I don't nap. That's my thing- I can't sleep during the day- it completely throws me off. The only time I do nap is when I'm really, really sick.
Dave is night shift- technically. Though I have yet to sleep through a night. There's always one of the kids finding a way to wake me up repeatedly.
During the morning til the afternoon he sleeps. And it's Kayla and I taking care of the wee little ones. Violet's therapists do help. But a lot happens during the daytime- things need to get done. Cooking, cleaning, phone calls, doctor appointments, therapy, school, shopping, you name it.
My sister has become my husband- and no it's not as sick as it sounds. We're together all the time- taking care of the kids, doing errands together. She is my lifesaver!!! Without her I don't know what I'd do!!!
Of course we get on each other's nerves, but not as much as other siblings I know. We actually enjoy each other's company. Plus she "gets" me. My instructions and directions- she gets right away- no need to over explain. This comes in handy.
I don't know what I'll do when she goes to college nor when Dave eventually goes back to school to complete his master's degree.
I'll have gone totally insane by then- most probably within one day of being alone.
My kids are a handful- not only is Violet autistic and hyperactive, she needs attention every second of everyday to make sure she doesn't kill herself (she thinks she indestructible!)- but my son is a little handful as well. He's only 8 months old for goodness sakes. I can't possibly watch them both properly without someone else's help. I'd hire a nanny just to HELP me- because NO one person could EVER take care of both my children alone- at the same time. I triple DOG DARE YOU! You'd fail no doubt- because it is impossible. No super nanny- not anyone could do this.
Being tired all the time- wears on a marriage. Dave is cranky almost all the time. Which leads to many many arguments. And I DO understand where he's coming from. But all the fighting is hard.
To All my friends wanting to get married- I never tell them- it's a good idea. NEVER.
I usually ask, "WHY Oh why are you ruining a good thing?!!"
Marriage is the hardest thing- even more difficult than being a parent. Seriously!
That stupid piece of paper changes people. I don't know why but it does, and who ever says that it doesn't is LYING.
I've always lived with people. So it's not being around Dave 24/7 that's the problem. I'm not a loner.
It's the constant anger that's the issue, probably because we're both sleep deprived. He's always had a sleeping problem- even before the kids came. Always.
And now my kids have a similar problem. But he can stay asleep for hours and hours and hours. We're always mad at each other. Because both of us feel the other doesn't let us sleep enough.
I try to be in a good mood. Well at least not in a bad mood. Because that would suck. And being around me would then suck. Plus I want my kids knowing how much I love them, and love being around them- even when they are driving me crazy.
And believe me I KNOW I'm not a saint. And would never paint myself as one. Hello! I'm bipolar- I do have mood swings galore! But definitely not as bad as it was before.
So I'm getting off topic.
So I'm tired of being tired. Yeah- that's what this blog started with right?
So yeah- that's about it because if I keep going with this blog- it'll be ten pages.
SO I'll stop here.
Kisses to all my sexy, crazy bitches!
Peace out!

More loving things we say...

Jokingly, Dave said to me the other day, "You don't even like me!"
In response I said to him " I don't like you. I love you!"
And then said "And hunny please, We're married, of course I don't like you." ;)

Loving things husband and wife say to each other...

Dave tells me yesterday "Hunny, drug yourself till you don't remember your name".
He says this lovingly of course.
This is just an example of what my husband and I say to each other.
We've been watching Thundarr the barbarian (the old cartoon) lately and it's hilarious.
I asked Dave to now call me "Woman!"- it cracks me up.
I'll call him "Barbarian!".
'Nuff said.

The new Gluten free diet and my daughter
We started on December 6th. And yes, we made a few mistakes here and there.
But I'm starting to get the hang of it. At least at home- where the Internet is close by and I can check if something is gluten free or not.
I haven't even tried to be casein-free. I do want my daughter to be GFCF eventually.
But one thing at a time.
I came across this AMAZING site- called the GFCF lady. http://www.thegfcflady.com
It's the best gf ( gluten free) site I've ever seen.
First of all, she's brilliant, second- she's fabulous and third- did I say brilliant?
I'm loving this site. SERIOUSLY. Loving it! She's has videos of her son before and after the diet.
So it's been about two weeks- and already I SEE A HUGE difference in Violet.
The video of her son (before the diet)- is SO similar to my daughter. Screaming, running, spinning, yelling, walking on her toes, hands flapping, all of it.
And only TWO weeks into this diet ( that I've worked so hard on) she showed me that she needed her diaper changed by lifting her dress and patting her diaper!!! Then sat on the potty ( that she'd been taking a part and throwing around the house since I bought it months ago). And later on, she pretend played with a small stuffed toy chicken, we have, jumping up and down on her alphabet blocks!!!
For those of you with autistic kids, or who know of autistic kids- you know this is a HUGE deal. It's amazing- I feel like crying I'm so happy.
For the first time- I have seen, what I know, my daughter is capable of.
She's my girl, my princess- no matter how many tantrums she throws daily, nights she stays up screaming, food she ends up throwing, she is my perfect little girl.
And I can finally see that she understands me- and what I'm saying to her.
She's in there- I saw it today- and she's coming out.
This is a momentous day- December 18th, 2009. A day of miracles. Thanks to all her therapists- Molly, Shannon- you know who you are- we LOVE you and all that you do and have done for Violet.
She's listening and learning!!!
And the websites say that you can tell if the kids have a gluten addiction- because they find a way to get their gluten "fix". Some, I heard even eat dirt.
Well today I found my daughter licking a sticker!!! And then tried her brother's bottle- just to get her gluten "fix".
So here's the proof- all the proof I needed to know I'm doing the right thing- no matter how tough, strict or frustrating- it's WORKING.
And I'm a total believer now.
My daughter is worth the trouble- she's worth everything and more.

Marriage...
I never believed before I was married- that being married is totally different than living together. I thought- these people don't know what they're talking about.
Now when I see new couples- and I know who they are- all lovey dovey- it creeps me out. Don't get me wrong I'm affectionate- kinda.
Dave and I used to be friends with a married couple- who were always affectionate- and it creeped both of us out- because it felt so "forced" and "fake". Like they were putting on a show to show us how in love they still were. YUCK!
The "rule" goes like this- don't judge ANYTHING by the first 2 years.
That's the "I can't get enough of you- get over here- I'm gonna maul you" phase.
That could even last a few extras years if you're lucky- and usually if you don't see each other every waking minute.
Then comes the "Why are you here again, DAMMIT?!" and "This? AGAIN?!" so on and so on...
You see where I'm going with this.
When I was a kid- I didn't look forward to marriage, actually I didn't want to get married. My parents' marriage wasn't the one I looked up to.
I, as a rule and as a part of being bipolar, tire of people quickly. REALLY quickly.
Even after a few dates- if it made it to a few.
Dave is my longest relationship- and surprise- I actually look forward to spending time with him, everyday.
Then again we have two kids, one very hyperactive kid, who never sleeps.
So Dave takes night shift and I take day shift.
Which means we rarely spend time together now- He's cranky- I'm cranky- he's tired- I'm tired. We're taking care of everyone but ourselves day in and out.
Marriage is the hardest thing I've ever done, even harder than being a parent- because that comes naturally.
Marriage- not storming out the door when things go wrong. With being with the same person forever- things WILL go wrong.
Yes we fight, yes we scream. I don't usually quote the show "Everybody loves Raymond" because it was my mom's favorite show- so it was always on in the background. But Marie, the head mother of the family, said one thing that really makes sense to be now- " In a marriage there's room for hate. Yes, hate and even love." Young fresh couples don't get this. But married people certainly do.
If they stay together long enough.
